Description

Our 2021 Taxa Cricket Overland has served us well for 3 seasons as a compact (15ft), lightweight (2000 dry weight) camper trailer. The overland edition gives you 3” extra clearance, independent (axle-less) suspension, and a lock n’ roll hitch enabling 3 axis movement with 360 degrees of rotation. It is an outstanding off-road setup. Mileage on the tires is low - a couple of ~3000 mile multi-state trips and a lot of local camping in Colorado. It's pre-wired for solar to charge 2 group 24 batteries.

The inside living space includes a sleeping area for two which converts to a dinette, plenty of storage space, a kitchenette with a sink and 2-burner stove, and enough counter space for meal prep. We really like the “milk crate” storage as we can store and pack them indoors and just bring out the crates when it is time to roll. The pop-up roof provides ample headroom when stationary and closes up easily for transit; it tows really nicely even on 4wd roads. There are two bunks for smaller humans (we store our sleeping gear in them). For more detail see https://taxaoutdoors.com/products/cricket - as far as I can tell the 2021 and 2025 models are nearly identical.

I am including a yakima rocketbox for the roof to store hoses, electrical, and larger items like camp chairs. I am also including the garmin BC35 camera which have installed in the back of the trailer and the Garmin Overlander GPS unit which, besides being a good GPS, enables you to view the camera display while driving/backing into your campsite. Our dometic CFX3 cooler, which we use when we have shore power, is also potentially available.
