Repairs: This vehicle has had the Tiffin big 3 inspections, including: Roof Rails replaced and painted (covered by Tiffin), Wet Bay Floor Conversion (prior owner had done), Drivers Slide Floor Inspection (replacement was not needed). Additionally, Tiffin repaired a slight sag in the tray ceiling by adding steel beams to the ceiling structure. The new ceiling came out beautifully.
Maintenance: Annual house and chassis maintenance has been performed in Red Bay, most recently Nov'24 at Precision RV Red Bay including full exterior inspection, slide service, and roof inspection/sealing where needed. Engine and generator serviced annually at Red Bay Diesel. Most recently serviced in Nov'24.
Condition: Furniture and upholstery are in excellent condition. Carpet recently replaced throughout. Porcelain tile floor has wear consistent with the age including 2 areas of cracked grout (very common at this age). One small tile crack in front of fridge. Icemaker is inoperative due to poor winterization by the prior owner: the service line has been capped. Small dent on one passenger bay door (golf ball sized). Front film shield has reached end of useful life. Engine has small oil leak, of no concern according to Red Bay Diesel. Leveling system works as expected, however if vehicle is parked for more than a few days you must re-level from the panel (per Precision RV this is a common issue). Power steering works great; however, there is a slight whine in the column while maneuvering. Both Freightliner and Red Bay Diesel have been unable to identify any issues. This condition has persisted throughout our four-year ownership without any change or adverse impact on steering performance. Drive tires will need replaced (aged out) but serviceable with good tread. All other systems are in top working order
This Tiffin Phaeton has been meticulously cared for and is in very good condition. All maintenance records are available. This vehicle gets routine service, with no systems sitting idle (a leading cause of issue for diesel pushers in particular)
