A lot of effort went into the solar system design with a great deal of testing aimed at minimum battery vibration, adequate wire sizing for safety and compactness. See the last two pictures which show the Solar Charge Controller and the batteries with the panel removed. The panel which covers the batteries is shown in the lower left side of last picture.
