Description

2015 Dynamax Dynaquest 36XL.

This was the last year dynamax made the curved side XL which to me are the best looking (it has the "ultra" body which was basically the grand sport body). It has a great color combination and it is fun to operate and travel in. In drives out very well and has air suspension in rear and it does have the centering cylinder on the steering. I feel that it is one of the safer coaches on the road as it has a gvwr that far exceeds its actual weight. It is rated to tow 20,000 lbs. The engine transmission combination is wonderful with 350hp and 1000 ft/lbs of torque. It has no problem going up the steepest of hills. I normally tow a vehicle which weighs 5000lbs and it has little effect on handling (although you lose about a mile per gallon in fuel economy). If you drive conservatively you get around 9.5 mpg. If you drive aggressively it get 8-8.5 mpg. It has air brakes and a two stage exhaust brake which to me are a must have on any rv.

Condition- It is in overall very good to excellent condition. It has been stored indoors when not in use. The body is in excellent condition with some fine scratching from normal use (tree branches). It has a clear film on the front that has a couple of small tears from stone chips. I keep it washed and waxed. The inside is also in excellent condition and shows minimal wear. I have treated the leather (copper canyon) and wood (mahogany) at least once per year. The engine has had annual oil changes and services at the local freightliner dealership runs perfect. Generator has 3,200 hours but runs and functions like it should (a lot of hours but as far as I know oil changed every 100 hours and possibly good for 10,000 hours?) Tires were replaced last year with michelin. Chassis batteries are optima, coach batteries are battle born lithium 300 amp hour with 600 amp hour reserve. Has two 100 watt solar panels with charge controller. Hot water heater is both gas and electric. Heat is gas also has heat strip in one of the air conditioners. Both air conditioners work great. Refrigerator has ice maker and works great. Has central vac. It is pre plumbed for washer dryer but does not have one installed. All systems work like they should as far as I know. The jacks are automatic, the awning is automatic.

I am the second owner and have owned for about 3 years and have put about 23k miles on it. My wife and I have shifted from traveling long distances to just mainly weekend camping . It no longer makes sense for us.
