Description

2022 Winnebago Minnie Winnie 25B. 7.3L V8 gasoline engine. All options from Winnebago – exterior paint, porcelain toilet, DC compressor fridge (not absorption/propane fridge), upgraded all weather windows, and rear stabilizing jacks with extensive upgrades:

  • Complete Victron power system (Multiple 3000W inverter, Solar charge controller, DC to DC charger, and Cerbo GX management system.
  • 840Ah LiFePO4 battery system with REC BMS for complete Victron integration, and ultimate safety and performance.
  • FlexArmor RV roof was applied as part of a strut-channel install for proper mounting of solar panels. This is the only correct way to install solar panels on a Winnebago roof – many glue or use wood screws into the roof material to install – neither of these are long term nor safe install methods. The FlexArmor roof has a lifetime warranty that is transferable as well.
  • 800W of solar panels installed on the strut channel setup; but can fit up to 2000W if you want longer off-grid capacity. Victron solar charger is good to 1400W but another can easily be added.
  • Power system installed under the fold out couch to not limit storage compartment space.
  • Automated transfer switch installed to automatically switch between shore power and generator.
  • Sterling DC to DC 60A charger to charge the batteries while you are driving.
  • Cellular internet setup – just add your own SIM card (We use Mint Mobile and works well) that allows you to monitor the RV remotely as well as provide internet access via both ethernet and WIFI. StarLink can easily be added as the strut-channel has a mounting area for it and waterproof bulkhead already installed for the cable passthrough.
  • Dinette has been replaced with a counter that can do double duty to extend the kitchen prep space, eating area, work area, but also contains a 50” smart TV on a motorized lift for those rainy days. The counter frame is built out of aluminum extrusion for strength and safety.
  • Spare tire relocated to rear bumper with additional mounting brackets, so the center tow hitch remains free.
  • Upgraded steering stabilizer and sumo-springs make driving in cross winds much more relaxed. We would often take it across the Bay bridge, and it did great after these two upgrades.
  • The downside:
    • The counter retrofit is only partially complete. It needs a countertop selected and ordered, as well as the front finishing trim to be decided. Both are DIY friendly. Or convert back to the factory dinette.
