FAQ Answer Floor & Front Panel

We've had a few questions, so here's the scoop:

-We replaced half of the floor ourselves with rot-proof Coosa board, which is super solid and modern (way better than original plywood). The soft floor was isolated to the front door area, likely from the door being left open. The rest of the was completely intact. And if you Google it, you'll find it's super common that Airstreams often need floor sections replaced. Airstream started using composite flooring in 2021.

-After the floor was removed, we undercoated the frame with black rubberized spray. It didn't need it, but our preventive OCD kicked in.

-The small front crinkle on the roof happened when the previous original elder owners backed into a carport. No hole, just a dent we popped out. It's now a beauty mark, with a story, and a Michigan Mitten patch!

We have lots of progress pics if you want to see the work. Just ask!
