After four incredible years with this converted Sprinter, the time has come for it to have a new owner.

The only reason Im selling is because I know I live in Kenya more than 70% of the time.

So, sadly, its time to part ways with this amazing camper van and home .

Bought for $27,000 and have put $10,000 into the build out + 100s of hours of labor.

I have recently replaced both turbo tubes & the timing belt, which are both standard replacements every 100,000 miles.
I worked with my mechanic to sure up the exhaust system with steel couplings at the joints. Truly is built to last!

I bought it at ~220,000 miles on the engine, and put another 68,000 miles on it without any issues.

The odometer reads 488,000, because the van got a brand new engine at 200,000 miles. The previous owner ran a logistics company, and his driver flooded the engine while driving in 3ft of standing water. Mercedes did the engine replacement, and I have the paperwork.

A diesel engine like this will go to 700,00 to 1,000,000 when maintained, like this one has. As my mechanic says, this is one of those Vans that will run to 1M miles .

Petrol engines, like Ford Transits, are lucky to make it to 200,000 miles.



I lived in this van for 6 months, and have done several other long trips. It is said to part ways with what was my first home, but I am excited for it to bring joy to someone else's life ... possibly yours ️
