2021 Coach House Platinum 271XL, Front Recliner, Class B+. One piece fiberglass body with carbon fiber reinforcement.

Teak color interior; extended galley; recliner/theater seating; 2-190 watt solar battery chargers; Alcoa aluminum rims; Automatic in-motion satellite; 24” TV in bedroom; 34” TV in front with optional sound bar.

FIVE – 100AMP Lithium Batteries and 3,000 Watt Victron Inverter. Safety Plus steering Assist; Direct TV Dish; raised panel cabinet doors; wardrobe; shower and roll out pantry. Automatic HWH high quality levelers and installed snap-pads. 

12v Norcold refrigerator (ice cream stays frozen!). 30g fresh, 27g grey, 25g black, 68# LP. Onan Micro-quiet generator. 365 hours and has been run monthly when in storage.

This Coach House 271XLFS is 26’ - 6' long, 176” wheel base, 96” wide and 11’ - 6” high. It is built on a Ford E450 chassis with 7.3 Liter “Godzilla” engine and 5 speed automatic transmission. The E450 has a generous 14,500lb GVWR and a 6,500lb towing capacity. 

Comparable new models are more than $100,000 higher – the bugs have been worked out of this one! This model also has the "old" distinctive body style; the new models are more boxy and look like many other MH's. When you drive a 2021 around the country it's quite the attraction!

The suspension system has been heavily upgraded by Safe-t-Plus in Georgia to improve ride and handling, including heavy duty antisway bars, steering stabilizer, and Koni Gold shocks.

Kitchen was custom designed at factory to have a two-burner induction cooktop and we also removed the vent fan and replaced with a light to allow for more room above the cooktop. 

The electrical system was modified at construction to allow the microwave to run through the inverter without having to start generator or be hooked to shore power. Very handy when stopping for lunch!

Heating and Cooling: Gas furnace and new (2024) AC/Heat pump was installed by factory.

Exterior: Non-standard paint combination (Shadow color) and the coach has EXPEL PPF film applied on the front hood, the front of body to the entry door and above to above the running lights. This film has a lifetime warranty through Rocky’s Ultimate Garage in West Palm. In addition the coach has been stored in a covered RV space.

Interior Changes: In the summer of 2024 the existing factory dinette was replaced (by the factory) with new slide flooring and new recliners at a cost of $9,500.

Audio Changes: In 2023 we replaced the Garmin head unit with a Sony XAV9500ES which allows for seamless high quality audio and full Apple Car play. This was a game changer for us as the factory installed Garmin unit can be difficult to use.

Engine:  While the coach has 67,000 miles on it the original Ford engine suffered a lifter issue in mid-2024 and the entire engine was replaced at no cost by Ford.  The new engine therefore has only 6,000 miles on it and is under full warranty from the point of replacement. Do your research and you will find this “Godzilla” engine is well thought of and we consider our issue an anomaly.

Tires: The tires have less than 100 miles on them! 4 Michelin Agilis C Metric on the rear   and 2 standard Michelin Agilis on the front.

Towed Vehicle: We tow a 2021 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon – all set for towing with that we would consider selling at the same time.
