Description

2004 Bigfoot 21-foot Front Bedroom True Four-Season Luxury Travel Trailer. Fiberglass body manufactured at the Bigfoot factory in Armstrong, BC. We are the second owners, having bought this in 2008 from the original owner. Now we are 17 years along in age, and it’s time for us to get a motorized RV. It will be hard to say goodbye to our beloved Bigfoot!

See attached photos for an itemization of the extensive upgrades and repairs done in 2019 and 2020 at Gilmay RV, up in Vernon, British Columbia. They are experts on Bigfoots. Their extensive work included installation of:

  • 160-watt solar panel
  • Solar charging panel
  • Aluminum wheel upgrade
  • Leaf springs (suspension upgrade)
  • Upgraded awning

  • Add-ons we completed prior to the Gilmay work:

  • Trailer cover and wheel covers
  • LED lights throughout
  • Battleborn lithium battery
  • Digital furnace control with thermostat
  • 23-inch Toshiba TV with built-in DVD; swivel mount
  • Replaced the original 54”x74” mattress with a 60”x 74” RV-queen innerspring mattress! To make room, we removed the drawer from the bedside stand and lowered the top. This upgrade also provided easy access to the water lines coming into the trailer. The 6-inch bed extension is supported by a wooden platform. See photos. If you prefer, you can go back to a 54” bed, but this was a game-changer for us and we would never go back!
  • Power jack
  • Propane tank gauges
  • Additional shower curtain pole installed to enlarge shower area

  • Features we’ve enjoyed since the beginning:

  • Two MAXX air fans with rain covers—turns the trailer into a wind tunnel!
  • Two 7-gallon propane tanks
  • Equalizer 4-point hitch (including heavy-duty anti-sway device)
  • Air conditioner
  • Fiberglass spare tire cover

  • Recent upgrade:

  • Four new tires – less than 300 miles on them.
  • There are three items we have not repaired/replaced because they don’t bother us. See photos.

    1. Front thermal pane window has sealant seep at the very edges, between the two layers glass. This is common and something we don't mind.

    2. Bedroom window coating was damaged by a detailer. There is light scuffing to the glass finish.

    3. The LED section of the control panel on the microwave oven was unreadable when we bought the unit 16 years ago. We always use the "Minute Plus" button to heat our food, so we have never needed to replace the control panel. The microwave works great.

Here is a video tour of a unit similar to ours (but the one in the video is two years newer, 6” wider, narrower original bed). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XDg07ueY0NE

Our neighborhood has frequent power outages in the winter. This unit has come through every time, even in snow and ice storms! Storage galore. Cover included. Bedding and pillows not included. See photos.

We have clear title. Price is $32,000 firm. Please contact us AFTER you have familiarized yourself with the history, quality, and value of the Bigfoot brand, and ONLY if you have a sincere interest in this unit at this price.
