1999 Airstream 28' Excella – Updated Interior & Road-Ready

This 1999 Airstream 28' Excella is a classic travel trailer with a polished aluminum exterior and a well-maintained structure. Stored indoors for most of its life, the exterior is in good condition with only minor areas of clear coat peeling. The trailer was recently polished and remains a solid example of Airstream’s timeless design.

Interior Updates and Layout
The interior was refreshed in 2023, giving it a modern yet cozy feel. The cabinets have been repainted, and a new butcher block countertop adds warmth to the kitchen. The fabric-covered walls have been freshly dyed, and the original curtains and blinds were also refreshed. The floor is engineered hardwood, likely original, and in good condition except for a small area near the door that shows minor wear.

This model comfortably sleeps four to five people. The rear bedroom features two beds, while the front fold-out sofa accommodates additional sleepers. There is also space for an air mattress if needed. The dinette includes a fold-out table, providing a functional space for meals or work.

Kitchen and Appliances
The kitchen includes a gas stove and oven, a battery-powered refrigerator, a microwave, and a stainless steel sink. All appliances are functional, making meal prep easy whether at a campsite or on the road.

Bathroom and Plumbing
The center bathroom layout features a shower on one side and a sink on the other. The plumbing system is in working condition, with no known leaks. The hot water heater runs on gas. The fresh, gray, and black water tank capacities are unknown but are assumed to be standard for this model.

Climate Control and Electrical
This Airstream runs on a 30-amp electrical system. The air conditioner is in working condition. No solar is installed, but the system is compatible. The batteries may need replacement as they do not hold a charge for long.

Towing and Road Readiness
This Airstream is road-ready and safe to tow, last moved in August 2024. The brakes and bearings passed inspection in 2023, and the tires are in good condition. The trailer comes with a weight distribution hitch, a 2-5/16" hitch receiver, an emergency breakaway cable, and safety chains. Signal and marker lights are fully functional.

Additional Features
The large manual awning is in excellent condition. The original sound system remains intact. Two propane tanks are included, estimated at 40-gallon capacity. A TV is also included.
