Description

Hello! I am ready to meet my new partners in adventure! I am a 2019 Winnebago Travato 59KL. My current partners would like to buy a home, and I support that there are no hard feelings at all between us, although I will miss them.

I have a HUGE lithium battery system built by Volta that can be charged by plugging in my power cord, driving down the road for about an hour, or by my automatic high-engine idle system while boondocked in the middle of nowhere. My current partners loved boondocking and rarely paid for a traditional powered camp slip, but I am happy to go to those places as well.

I also have a second aftermarket coach battery system I call my "little lithium" that was installed by an architect and electrical engineer (my original partners). At night, when my partners are sleeping, I can shut the Volta system off so it is fully quiet (no Volta hummmmmmmmm in the background). The little lithium powers the fridge, lights, water pump, and other essentials at night. My little lithium is recharged by either an extra solar panel on my roof, or by a cool OEM looking button that allows the big Volta system to recharge the little lithium system. The little lithium system can run several nights without needing a recharge. With the little lithium system, there is also installed an additional Victron charge controller and Victron Isolated DC/DC converter. Operating it is as simple as a switch inside the house. I also have phone apps for the Volta and Little Lithium system so you can see exactly what my power levels and discharge rates are.

I have two twin beds that can be converted into a queen+, only my conversion process is WAY cooler and easier than the OEM system. My original partners designed a system called a Rolly-Froli (the under-mattress lifter things are called a Froli system). Instead of having to install the tabletop and put uncomfortable cushions in the middle, my Rolly-Froli system allows the driver-side bed to slide over fully and self-supports itself. If you would prefer to use the tabletop OEM conversion, my Rolly-Froli system also allows that as well with the OEM support arms. This system also allows easy flip-up access to the underbed heating/water systems and additional added storage.

Oh, I also have double-paned windows! That allows for a much wider range of function, including: (A) much wider views out the window (no sliding glass bar in the middle); (B) better airflow when open; (C) you can listen to the rain better because you can open the window (D) and best of all, the windows do not get cold or hot, meaning your house temperature will stay much better regulated.

My entry table has also been upgraded. The top of the table now allows spice storage, and the internal tower allows for canned good storage. The bottom section includes a clever mechanism to store canned drinks that dont fit in the fridge sometimes referred to as a beer-a-vator.

I have new BFGoodrich KO2 tires (size 225), which help a lot on off-road trails, and are still quiet on the highway. I have a recent oil change and am up to date on all recommended maintenance. I have a full-size spare tire mounted to my roof, using an ingenious lightweight CRANE that was designed and installed by the original architect partner, with full instructions on how to use it.

My cockpit has an upgraded stereo head that allows Apple Carplay or Android Auto, and it also shows a lot of gauges for how my engine is working.

I also have a roof-mounted WeBoost cell signal booster, on a retractable pole. It can be in the upright position while driving as well so you can get better signal while driving.

My partners installed a full-size dump/sewer hose tube behind the rear bumper so you dont have to use a short hose like Winnebago intended.

I also have an OEM looking button installed to kill awning power so it doesnt open up going down the road like so many of my other siblings.

My original partner (the architect, again) installed an extra OEM-looking water pump button in the bathroom for easy on/off water access.

I have several accessories to make your adventures easier, including a back door custom bug net, bug nets for the driver/passenger windows. If you need to fly-in to pick me up, I will be fully stocked with essentials, including a potable water hose, filter, tank-dump gloves, and even sheets/bedding if you need it. My current owners flew into Los Angeles and drove me cross country immediately to Georgia. You can take me anywhere you want!

My current partners do NOT have a loan on me, and they have my title in hand. If you need a bank loan to purchase me, we can do that through Escrow dot com. My current partners have used it before to purchase, and it is a well-guided and legitimate system.

Now, for the outstanding maintenance issues:

(1)My creator, Winnebago, installed a Remis Windshield Blind System. Its neat, but they are notorious for the blind string breaking. Mine is no different, and it either needs to be restrung, or a different blind used. My current partners can show you how they still use the system using some nifty carabiners that will come with the purchase to make sure you can get the privacy you want. There are also after-market options that you can use to insulate the cab better.

(2)My creator, Winnebago, also installed a sliding bug screen that had a blind string problem as well. This just broke in December 2024, and the maker of the screen is called Lippert. My current partners were planning on upgrading this to an aftermarket Bug Wall or similar-type product.

(3)My cooktop class cover cracked and my current partners removed it for safety reasons. We have not really seen much difference in not having the top, because when you are cooking, the glass top was always in the way. Replacement glass tops can be obtained, but we actually enjoyed the extra cooking space without the glass in the way (standing straight up and blocking the back counter).

I am a great van with all of the modifications already done for you. I cant wait to meet you!
