Description
DodgeBought it for $36,890 with 71,902 miles (has about 78,500 now +/-added $24,693.32 accessories (slightly higher than I originally financed as I added a few things like the built in compressor which is great for adding air to low tires. Attached the spreadsheet with all the accessories listed.also put in a modern touch screen stereo and backup camera which is great on that large rigScoutKenai with added roof nest and inside access portal above the inside bedBought another 5 gallon life straw tank that fits for holding water and have a secure storage area for itadded two small windows in front of Scout for air circulationadded a small fan that runs off batteryThe Scout originally came with the Goal Zero 1500 battery. Grossly under sized for the amount of storage and power needs. I replaced with the 6000 which is the biggest one they makeAdded an auxilary solar panel and cables so you can get 5X as much solar charge over the panel that comes mounted on the scout. It came with a SurfShower which is in my garage in BajaI bought an accordian style stainless "stair ladder" that makes it easy to get in and out of. Has about 8 stepsa few exterior Rotopax water tanks ( on Scout now)270 degree shade awninghas Dometic freezer/fridge inside. Dometic stove too which runs off propane. Two tanks are stored in a compartment outside.I added Baja proof covers that latch on to all the cubbies inside to keep items from flying aroundIt has 3 light bars insideDiesel heater - touch screen inside and stainless box outside covered in stickerstelescoping ladder that fits in storage compartment that hooks on top to access the Nestabout 11'6" talltwo large storage bags that hang from clips for food, towels etc. All windows have cool shades, screens etc. Both beds are queen - I can fit in either and I'm 6'3Scout comes with ratchet straps to secure it to the truck. I added the turn buckles thinking they were stronger, who knows? They do attract rust quickly so I bought 4 new straps alsoI added a cabinet inside for spices, sunscreen etc. I have a second but it needs to be modified (long story - in my garage in Baja)** Goal Zero makes an adapter called a LINK. It charges the Goal Zero 6000 from the truck while driving. Longstory but the OG system was recalled and I have the parts in my garage but have not had the time and patience to install in recent trips but the 6000 lasts a long time (days running everything) especially with the solar options I have. I am sure I have forgotten a few things but that is the gist of it. It is registered in South Dakota through 2025 November.
