Introduction
This is a 2018 Bowlus Road Chief - On The Road® Edition travel trailer with 25,000 miles. It includes all the standard features, plus we added the following enhancements
It has been professionally ceramic coated by Master Paint Guard in Benicia, so it will never need polishing. The coating has a lifetime guarantee.We installed a 12v extractor fan in the kitchen, with variable speed control. This dramatically reduces cooking smells and heat from the kitchen, and can also quietly ventilate the trailer while you are sleeping.Because the kitchen extractor fan can pull air in the bedroom windows, we no longer needed the bedroom fan. In its place, we installed another lamp plus dimmer switch. For this sale, we have reinstalled the original fan, which can be speed controlled by the dimmer. Its easy to reinstall a light, if desired.The trailer is Starlink ready, unlike Bowlus models prior to 2023. We put the Starlink router in the cavity behind the bathroom vanity with a power cord that can be plugged in to the 115v plug inside the vanity (runs off-grid using inverter). We ran ethernet cable from the router following existing cables out through the existing hole used to run power from the tow vehicle to the trailer, and attached an ethernet port with waterproof cap under the front step. No new holes were created.We added a hidden garbage can in the unused space under the kitchen sink, and added hinges and knob to the sink access panel below the sink to provide access.We installed dimmer switches for the front living room lights.We replaced the living room, bedroom, and port side kitchen power outlets with new outlets that also have USB-A and USB-C ports for charging portable devices.We replaced the storage battery in 2024.The trailer includes the optional 120-watt solar panel.

LED reading lights and power outlets are located throughout the Road Chief, and the built-in inverter gives you 115v power even when there's no outside power connection available.An AGM battery provides plenty of power, and a 120-watt solar panel stored in the closet allows you to augment your power supply.Next to the sofa is a built-in charging station for laptops, tablets, and cellular devices.Trailer has a cellular booster with antenna that will improve the cellular signals.
Heating
The intelligent thermostat offers multiple programming options to ensure you have heat when you want it, and the fully heated floors operate regardless of how you're plugged in.Even monitoring levels is easy, with control panels above the vanity making it easy to adjust the heater and inverter/charger or check levels in the propane, fresh, and grey water tanks.Other
The trailer can sleep four when the outdoor café table is inserted between the dining chairs to create a fourth berth, and that same café table is also removable to attach to the slot outdoors, enabling exterior dining.The included external awning can attach to either side of the trailer.The five drawers in the living room provide storage with a low center of gravity to improve handling while towing.
