Description
This is one you have been looking for! That is, if you have been looking for a Grand Design Transcend Xplor 221RB. Why is this the perfect one, you ask? Because it has 200 miles on it, yea, 200, I’m the first owner and I used it only a couple days a week to live in while my job was away from home.
This bad boy sat in the Riverside RV Park in Laughlin from February of 2023, plugged in and hooked up, until I towed it to Las Vegas in October of 2024. So it went from Vegas to Laughlin (100 miles ish) and back to Vegas. That’s it. While I was living in it for 2-3 days a week, minus the weeks I was off, etc, I did not use the shower and never used the toilet for number twos. Went to the facilities provided by the park. Additionally, I did not use the heater, stove or oven. So your propane tanks are full. Pretty much just slept, watched tv and used the microwave and sinks.
This thing is in great shape, everything is working with one exception; the screen door broke off. About two months into owning it, the welds on the screen door broke and it came off. This is a 30 amp unit, currently plugged in to maintain the batteries, with one overhead AC unit. However, I added a second one in the bedroom. I had the dealership, Blue Dog RV which now changed its name, add a 4” dryer vent tube in the bedroom so I could connect any home type portable AC unit. This way, there is no ridiculous exhaust hose going out a window with spray foam and tin foil holding it together. If you have questions about it, I can go into more detail. The unit, which is included, gets that bedroom COLD.
Check the specs on the 221RB for all the capacity details etc. I can tell you what options it came with: one slide out, couch where the leg portion opens, door awning, rooftop solar package, stabilizer jacks (manual), 32” smart tv. Additionally, I bought all the start up stuff needed which is included: chocks, hoses, water filter, surge protector, leveling blocks, tongue lock, sewer hoses, paper towel holder, I know, you want it now. Plus, I bought all the sunlight and roof vent cover pad things. It was a whole bunch of stuff I bought so you don’t have to!!
Also, I made super fancy window shades out of foil insulation. They came out pretty decent, make the trailer much cooler and darker and it doesnt look like the Krystal Ship in the trailer park. Take a look at the pics, ask any questions you have and I’ll answer what I can for you. The trailer is at my friend’s house in Las Vegas because I have no space at my pad.
I’m motivated to sell, but not letting it go for the price of a 1998 Buick LeSabre. Not looking for a trade; no need for an old boat without a motor plus cash, so please don’t offer. Unless it’s a really cool boat.
The trailer is located in Las Vegas, Nevada. Specifically the southwest part of town off of Blue Diamond SR160. Let me know if you want to check it out and we’ll make arrangements. Thanks for looking!
