Description

This Barth RV was custom outfitted by Elite Custom Paint & Body, of Lafayette, GA and was acquired by the seller in March 2022. The truck features a frame reinforced with 2" of steel and is equipped with a power-operated rear drive-on ramp (needs wiring repair), a 60 gallon water tank, air conditioning, and air shock suspension (all compressors are fully operable). The Stainless Steel body, previously finished in White, is powered by a stroked 454ci V8 mated with a 3-speed automatic transmission. The cockpit features dual swivel captain's chairs trimmed in beige leather, wood surround, a stereo system, cupholders & brown carpeting. The 6-digit odometer reads 110k, 2k of which was added by the current seller. The living area is equipped with custom cabinets, bench seating, a cooktop, sink, dining table, and convection oven. Rear section of the RV has a round bed mounted on a cable-lift system (needs wiring repair) to raise for toy hauling (I have hauled my 1971 Mustang & 2003 BMW 325ci easily in here) or lower for sleeping. This area also features a small shower, sink, and flush toilet. There is slight water damage in to the roof panel here. The rear fold-down ramp can also double as an outdoor "Patio" area. Exterior equipment includes standard & convex side mirrors, a trailer hitch, manual sliding windows, roof mounted A/C, an outward-hinged side door & vehicle access door for loading/unloading. Silver 19.5" steel wheels (& mud guards) exhibit corrosion and are wrapped in mismatched tires that will need to be replaced next year due to early signs of dry-rot. The Electrical system features a 50-Amp, 220V wiring with a transfer switch, as well as a battery isolator, a 12V to 120V power inverter, and 12V lighting powered by 3 12-volt batteries that are 2.5 years old. There is an onboard Onan generator that has not been run since I've owned it.This is a project vehicle acquired when I was single and had time, now in a relationship with 4 kids and it just isn't getting any use or attention. I paid $12,500 on Bring a Trailer, began replacing and adding insulation for noise and climate control, and planned to re-finish the wall panels. This truck starts and runs great, needs new batteries now, and new tires soon. The wiring system for the ramp and bed motors need troubleshooting as they have sustained rodent damage. I'm motivated to sell before this Winter causes further water damage being uncovered in storage.
