Description
We've had many wonderful adventures with our family in the Adventurer, but it's time to move on with the next adventure (empty nest/teardrop trailer!). We had the Adventurer professionally redone by a carpenter three years ago and he did an outstanding job. We had all lights replaced with LED lights and I prefer the RV kitchen-especially the stove- to the kitchen and stove in our house! In the main cabin we wanted flexibility to utilize the space as our needs changed. We had the dining booth removed. When it's just my husband and I we used a small table with two chairs in this area (pictured). We typically like to grill and eat outside when we camp so usually we take the table and chairs out when we camp but they will come with the RV. When we travel with a full house the booth area has housed a playpin, dog crates, or dog beds for our dogs. We typically move the recliner to this area and turn the captains chairs around when we all watch movies together. At night when we have a full house we set up a cot (or cots)in that area or a cot with a queen-sized blow up mattress next to that. Our fold out couch is full size so when the house is full we have comfortably slept 4 adults 3 kids, and three small dogs. Not pictured are the two Roku tvs we have. One hangs to the left of the door above the window where the recliner is and the other is in the bedroom hanging to the right of the sliding bedroom door on the corner cabinet. We had all countertops (kitchen, bathroom, bedroom nightstands)thickly sealed so no worries about needing coasters. My husband is a mechanic and has done all the mechanical maintenance on the RV. We bought all new tires when we bought the RV three years ago and drove it to Missouri from Texas. The tires are in great shape with lots of life left in them. We always tow a vehicle with an enclosed trailer, flatbed, or tow dolly when we travel and it tows like a dream! HVAC system was serviced/updated by a professional. We recently had to replace the microwave and that microwave is a bit smaller than the one that it replaced but it is secured and works nicely. There is a picture of this. The front driver's side window has a crack in it. That pane will need to be replaced. We've been quoted $1500-2000 to do that which we don't plan on doing since Christmas is coming up and we decided to sell the RV. We're keeping that replacement cost in mind with the pricing we have it at. There are a few scratches on the floor from when a rock got stuck under the slide out. I also hadn't made up my mind on window treatments and other decor so that is all a white blank slate for you to put your finishing touches on to make it your own. At the price we have just reduced it to ($16,500 )we are going to keep the queen-sized Off-Road RV mattress in the bedroom for our teardrop. We're sad to see The Adventurer go, but our needs have changed so it's on to teardrop adventures! The Adventurer is a very nice home on wheels that's ready to roll! We're located in Kirksville, Missouri and there is an airport here that flies into Chicago O'Hare for those who would want to fly in/drive it to your destination. My husband and I would also consider possibly delivering the motorhome within the continental US for the cost of gas to your destination and flights back to Kirksville.
