Description

Bought in May 2024 when all 6 tires were replaced with brand new ones, until recently it ran well beside requiring a spray of engine oil to start after sitting overnight. In October 2024 a hose feeding the engine air intake became disconnected; on the highway that engendered whitish smoke (a first) and soon a knocking noise. I drove it slowly about one mile into a rest stop where it died. A mechanic replaced one of its worn belts and it started briefly, not going into reverse. I had it towed to another mechanic who recommended replacing the engine without a clear diagnosis. A specialist suggested the transmission could be fixed for $1k if removed. Its gaskets are leaky. I bought it from NY after I believe the owner drove it from AZ. Its body is reportedly all aluminum and has seemed solid. It has a toilet next to a shower, a sink, a twinish-sized wooden bed foundation and wooden cabinets. Two recently new batteries enable USB and interior lights but need further wiring for hot water.

Continuing the condition description: while I poured two gallons of winterizer down the toilet, the black tank should be fully emptied and re-winterized soon. I think the clean water tank is winterized from last season.

I had intended to replace some of the fuses; the radio turns on visually but we haven't activated the speakers. Its hot air seemed to work, I don't know about its air conditioning, and its front cigarette adapter seemed inoperable. I broke the interior driver's side door handle. It has a pretty new reportedly aluminum (at least shiny) radiator. We drove it around 5,000 miles in 5 months of ownership.

It happened to break down near Twin Lake MI 49457. I may be able to have it towed modest distances from that location, or you could have it towed anywhere.

A "Camping World" sales representative reported that she rarely saw this Class C form factor available, new or used, for much less than $50,000. This one has an unusually old front end, however, and needs the engine and possibly transmission fixed — and possibly replacement of gaskets, starter and other components — with the undiagnosed inaction.

It is sold "as is" without any warranty. I am not a mechanic. Payment can be by cash or confirmed wire before title transfer.

The asking price approximates what I spent on it (excluding my time and fuel), and I welcome other potentially best offers.
