Description
2022 Open Road Allegro with all the upgrades in Sunlit Sand. Lovingly maintained. This rig has been garage kept in climate-controlled storage. This beautiful RV is less than 3 years old and has enough storage inside and out for full-timing. Take the cross-country trips of your dreams and enjoy all the luxuries of home.
The lighter-colored natural, solid wood cabinetry, with the lighter colored finishes throughout keeps the interior bright, but still warm. The dinette and mantle were upgraded to match the solid-surface countertop for a consistent, high-end look.
We opted for the modern workstation with two chairs instead of a traditional dinette. This provides us with more countertop space, and the option to easily raise or lower the hinged dining table, providing more space when we’re not eating. The workstation provides additional power and wiring options, including using the Televator mounted TV as an additional monitor using the HDMI connection.
The additional solar panels on the roof keep the inverter running much longer when we’re not hooked up. This is why we have so little time on the generator. The main reason we got the upgraded 7.0 kw Generator is because we wanted to upgrade the front A/C unit from 13.5 K to a 15 K A/C with Heat Pump. With this combination of upgrades, we rarely have to run the gas furnace unless it is near freezing temperatures. We generally only need propane for the Truma Gas continuous water heater (an upgrade), which works GREAT, or for the gas cooktop.
We love being able to stay connected while traveling. We can take turns using our laptops from the passenger seat with the slide out laptop desk. The front seats are so comfortable, we work there even when we are parked. We added the optional Wi-Fi Booster and we have been very happy with the connectivity.
We can do all our laundry right on the rig with the stacked washer and dryer. They work as well as our machines at home.
We added a Blue-Ox towing kit on the rig. We can hook up or disconnect our Jeep in just a couple of minutes.
We added the DirecTV satellite dish so we could just bring our receiver with us. We never have to miss our favorite sports or shows, and can watch from any of the four TVs (one of which is outside/campside.
We added the power reel for the electric cable, which makes it easy to retract, keeps the electrical bay neat and saves space.
