Description
Professionally built Dodge Promaster 2500 with only 18,000 miles odometer.
Owner’s vehicle for sale that was converted in June 2024. The vehicle is currently finishing up a cross country trip from CA to MA. Built by a professional van builder, Sarah has numerous features including 2 skylights, 5000 Watts of battery storage, hot and cold running water, and the ability to convert from the typical garage style van to a cargo van in just minutes.
The owner is selling the vehicle to build a new Promaster 3500 vehicle.
DESIGN AND BUILD PROCESS
Pro Van Kits employs sophisticated CAD and automated CNC capabilities to deliver fully converted luxury vans for about $18,000 to $22,000 over chassis price. Almost all builds start with lightly used vans (less than 15K on odometer) that owners purchase and deliver to our facility. As a result, finished vans run in the final range of $55K to $70K depending on required features. A design is first approved, then the components transferred to a CNC to fabricate. What would take days to build by hand now often takes just hours.
EXTERIOR/WINDOWS
A majority of our vans start with a windowless (cargo area) basic van. Between being less expensive and more readily available, adding after market windows and skylights offer more flexibility. They can range from under $150 to over $800/each. You can choose size and location of windows and skylights. All our vans and Sarah are fully insulated on walls, ceiling and floor.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
Sarah has a simple electrical system that relies on replaceable solar generators (ECOFLOW). If you need more power or battery storage, you can add an expansion battery. The van has a 2500 Watt primary battery system and second 2500 Watt backup generator, providing over 5000 Watts of power. Other than the generator, the electrical system comprises a few heavy-duty electrical switches and a 600W DC power supply. In to the 400 Watts of rooftop solar, there is a 150 Watt suitcase-style panel that you can plug in via a DC port on the rear bumper.
