Description
Ideal for boondockers. This 2019 Coach House Platinum III 250 ST is on a 2018 Ford Transit 3.2L Diesel chassis with only 42,000 miles on the odometer. Around 25 feet long and no slide outs to worry about. The Coach House brand is known for its high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Fully Electric! This twin bed unit was ordered fully electric from Coach House. There is no propane or generator onboard. The electric system is 24V all Victron components and includes 600 Ah @ 24V (14.4 kWh) smart batteries, Cerbo GX, 3000W inverter, Lynx BMS, and ~1080W of solar on the roof. All controlled with the Victron Touchscreen or through the Victron app. The efficient RecPro A/C runs well off the batteries and I have used the rig in all climates. A diesel heater has been installed to provide heat without using up the electricity. If you like to boondock or camp off the beaten path, this rig works great.
The kitchen is fully equipped with an induction cooktop and convection microwave. The comfortable electric sofa folds down into an extra bed. The unit came without a TV in the rear and I have installed a monitor with security cameras on the roof for extra security. I am the 2nd owner and this unit appealed to me because of the homey feel inside and the safety of not having propane. The diesel heater and A/C are both less than a year old and part of the upgrades I have made along the way. I have averaged around 15 MPG on my travels.
The dry bath in the rear is comfortable and space-efficient. I have a small washing machine in the shower which can be included. Custom mattresses from Tochta. Fresh water tank is 30 gallons. Also comes with all the cables/hoses you need as well as a 3 stage water filter and telescoping ladder.
The exterior shows signs of wear with some scratches and damage to paint/fiberglass on the rear. There is also a little damage to fiberglass on the rear underside from a muddy RV park where the rear sank into mud. I would rate the interior as in good shape and the exterior as fair. I have tried to reflect this wear in my pricing.
