Description

Handy Man or Lady Special!!

Has been "cleaned up" a bit since photos. Working on better pics.

Cummins fires on first crank!

last 6 of vin, 000014

Solid Coach and Body, but needs Cosmetic and Systems work!

Classic Motorcoach Restore Candidate.

79K + miles. Interior is partially removed, needs two new interior panels, but mostly cosmetic, and systems refresh.

This is the 1967 Corvette of High Quality Motorhomes.

29' TAG Axle Rear Diesel Pusher 5.9 24 Valve Cummins Diesel5 Speed Allison Transmission Newmar Custom NewCo Air Ride, Pusher Chassis .Disc Brakes All Around.

Tubular Steel Chassis was built specifically for this model Estimated 10 to 15 still on the road today.

The Good:

Coach Drives Great and with solid updated Suspension. The Structure is rock solid, and in great shape!

Aircraft Aluminum Cage Shell with free hung Fiberglass exterior, including roof. No Delamination. No structural rot. No Rust issues.

This coach drives beautiful, and handles the same. Will U-Turn on a four lane road. It is a rear Air Ride Pusher with very generic drive train parts. Have had no trouble with service, parts and repairs. The rails are custom, but the operation systems are not exotic. Side draft radiator with great engine access. Front located Diesel Generator.

Central Ducted AC. Always starts, and the high dollar batteries, Inverter rebuild are about six months old. I have a stack of receipts going back about 8 years, in excess of 50K in mechanical updates, from the previous owner and me for the last 6 years.

Newer Airbags, Brakes, Turbo, lift pump, Injection pump, fuel tank clean and flush, updated and newer engine computer, new fly by wire Cummins Accelerator, LED lighting upgrades, Many suspension parts and bearings. Mostly preventative maintenance. List of updates and maintenance is far to large to list, but available to review.

Have redone original furniture in storage, as shown in earlier photos.

The Bad:

Mostly Me!! This machine is in much better condition than it appears. Did not to Glamor shoot the photos. If they spook you; this may not be for you. This could be a fun project for someone with tools, skills and a place to work. Most of remaining work, can be supported through Home Depot:)

The Ugly:

Newmar makes a current production Newmar New Aire, that lists in the 700K range, but does not offer any support for these older classic models. .

Tires are starting to weather check and will eventually need to be replaced. 44,900 (reduced to sell!) as she sits.
