Description
Sale is pending.
We love this luxurious van and the freedom it has given us to travel in comfort to so many beautiful places. It is a dream to drive. Everything is in excellent working condition. There are only 13,078 miles on the odometer. We recently purchased a new battery for the chassis. Maintenance has always been performed at Mercedes Benz in Salem, OR. We took it to them in May to verify everything was working well and all recalls were up to date. Between Mercedes Benz and Pleasure Way, the van has too many features to list!
The extendable bed has several inches of memory foam and is quite comfortable to sleep on. There are plenty of cabinets in the living/bedroom area for bedding and personal items as well as a roomy closet with a clothes rack. The television and DVD player are in this area.
We like being able to cook together in the kitchen using the regular counter next to the sink and the foldout counter next to the cooktop. We prefer the propane two burner cooktop to the newer style induction single burner. There's ample space in the kitchen area cabinets and drawers for all cooking and food items. We chose the Plateau TS over the Plateau FL because we wanted a bigger refrigerator. It is a large two door 6 cu ft refrigerator/freezer. The lighting is excellent throughout the van.
The bathroom in the Plateau TS is larger than the Plateau FL. We like having the roomy medicine cabinet as well as storage in the cabinet under the sink. It is easy to set up the curtains in the shower.
The Stowaway box mounted on the trailer hitch has been so handy for holding bulky items like camp chairs, firewood, and leveling blocks. We've even carried fold up bikes in it! We use it to store the items we need for setting up camp like the water hose, the electric cord and the tablecloth. The Stowaway swings out of the way for access to the rear doors. It is securely locked in three places for traveling.
We have really enjoyed the Pleasure Way. We've stayed at State Parks with hookups, at National Parks without hookups and we've boondocked. The solar panels work well to keep the lights, the bed extension and water pump going. We'd love to travel more in this luxurious RV but due to recent health changes, we are selling it. If you are looking for a Class B motorhome, consider this beautifully crafted Pleasure Way. They are the best!
