This 2017 Thor A.C.E. 30.1 is powered by Ford's Triton 6.8L V10 gasoline engine with 320 HP and a 6-speed automatic transmission. The rig is very easy to drive for 31 feet, and has great power going up steep mountain passes. The 30.1 floorplan is a spacious design with a large slide in the living and kitchen areas and second slide in the bedroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with a three-burner gas stove with an oven (not all motorhomes have one), electric/propane refrigerator/freezer, microwave, and great counter space. The master bedroom includes a queen-sized bed, a large wardrobe, and tons of storage space, while the bathroom features a spacious shower, sink with a vanity, and toilet. The coach sleeps up to 8 with a convertible sofa, convertible dinette, drop-down powered hide-away loft bed, and queen bed in the bedroom. Other features include a 32" LED TV in the living area, a Bluetooth stereo with interior/exterior speakers, Onan 4000 kW gas generator, a backup monitor with integrated camera, 8000-lb. tow package, mounted spare tire, and lots of bay storage. Tires are less than 2 yrs old and have under 3k miles. We enjoyed traveling around WA, BC, and the Canadian Rockies in our 30.1. We stayed very comfortable during a range of 3-season weather conditions (haven't tried winter snow). Very comfortable and functional floorplan and amenities making this a great home on wheels! Since the appliances can run on propane the batteries last several days w/out hookups or firing up the generator - great for national parks or state parks w/out hookups. We love the Class A layout because it really opens up the living area and is a very comfortable way to travel.
