Description

If you've done your research, you already know about Intech’s reputation for quality, comfort and design. This lightly used 19-foot Sol Horizon is an ideal camper for couples or small families. You can own if for $20,000 less that you’d pay for a new one, and you may not notice the difference.

This aluminum-frame travel trailer with fiberglass exterior has a dry weight of 3,300 pounds. It is easy to tow and maneuver. But the real selling point is the panoramic front window. It offers a lot of natural light and great views, but the tinted glass also affords privacy. And you won’t find a roomier wet bathroom in any camper this size.

Need more data? Check the Intech website. Design hasn’t changed much since introduction. But the price certainly has. https://intech.com/rv/models/sol/horizon/

We’re the second owners and have taken just 7 trips in our 3 years of ownership. We bought it for our retirement travels but soon learned that camping isn’t our priority anymore. You’ll be hard-pressed to find wear-and-tear on this camper. And everything works as it was designed to work.

Intech’s axle recall was performed shortly after it was issued (by original owners at the selling dealer, Bonner RV, Jersey Shore, PA). When camper was in for the axle replacement, previous owner added Goodyear Endurance tires. This package includes the $600 Anderson WDH (weight-distribution hitch). The camper has an outside propane grill, a place where we do almost all of our cooking.

Need tow vehicle? Chevy Colorado Z71 (39,600 miles) is available with camper. Package price $51,000. Fully loaded and includes BakFlip F1 folding tonneau cover and Adarac Pro aluminum rack.

Other features:

  • Queen-sized bed with mattress topper
  • Dometic furnace and AC
  • Dometic refrigerator
  • High Point microwave
  • Farmhouse stainless sink
  • Two-burner propane cooktop
  • Jensen sound system with CD player and Bluetooth
  • Jensen flat screen TV
  • Ports for connecting coaxial cable and solar panels
  • Outdoor kitchen/grill
  • Thule manual awning

  • We’ve NOT upgraded from the single lead-acid battery, as we camp exclusively at sites with 30-amp hookups. We assume the television works, but have never used it. The camper has been stored indoors all 5 winters.
