Description
Rev up your adventures with this souped-up Airstream Interstate Grand Tour EXT 4x4!
It boasts an Agile Offroad RIP Kit ($8k installed) featuring Koni Struts, Fox auxiliary shocks, 7500# leaf springs, and wheel spacers for a smooth ride. Roll in style on Method Wheels with plus-size all-terrain tires (~5k miles), including MR901 HD Dually wheels and Cooper Discovery AT3 LT tires. Stash your gear in OwlVans rear storage boxes and ladder ($4k), and bring your bikes along with 1-Up USA bike racks ($800). Enjoy premium sound with a Kenwood/Infinity/Focal custom audio system ($2k), complete with Apple CarPlay and Nav readiness. Boost performance with the DTE PedalBox+ ($350), and keep your valuables safe in a custom interior lockable storage cabinet ($300). Top it off with a custom black grill ($170) and Agile Offroad horn kit ($100). Plus, a recent 60k mile service ($8k) ensures it is road-ready! You will love the dual-range transfer-case and be amazed at what this vehicle can tackle.
A Few Imperfections Means a Big Discount: Every adventurer has a few battle scars, and this Airstream is no different. Known issues: The front bumper fascia has a hole, the rear bumper fascia is missing, the rear ladder/box is bent (but does not impact it's – or the rear door's – functionality), some of the electric window shades don’t work, there is an exterior plumbing leak, the AGM batteries hold less than 50% capacity, the onboard generator needs servicing, and many of the seats show signs of wear. Despite these relatively minor issues, the mechanical condition of the Sprinter itself remains excellent, ensuring a reliable and enjoyable travel experience. I have set the sales prices to account for these imperfections. Similar models with fewer imperfections are typically listed at ~$110-130k+. My van could be a great bargain for someone who either does not mind the imperfections or is willing to spend money on parts and the time to install them. Unfortunately for me, I neither have the time nor the money right now to do so!
Future Upgrades I Would Consider: If I were to keep my Interstate, I would eventually convert to lithium ion batteries, increase the solar capacity, replace the flush toilet with a Laveo, upgrade the water tank heater, and replace the pesky electric window shades with insulated, removable covers to support extended off-grid travel, particularly in the winter.
Included in sale: 4, LED Roadshock lightbars (with wiring kits, all unistalled), a 12k lb Badland winch (uninstalled) with wired remote, recover straps and shackles, and 4 extra bottle jacks (useful for campsite leveling)
We are moving to a neighborhood where parking will be a challenge, so I have reduced the price to $69.5k (firm) to move quickly.
Please contact me with questions or to schedule a showing! I'm happy to send you additional pictures, videos, or schedule a virtual walk-through (via FaceTime) if you live outside of the area.
Please note that I continue drive this vehicle occasionally, so actual mileage at time of sale may be slightly higher than it is currently (~65.6k as of Dec 3, 2024, unable to save update in Details section for some reason)
