Description
Nice Chevy 4x4 short rig. Torsion Bar front end with Silverado shift on the fly transfer case and axle. Heavy Duty Front and rear sway bars. Bilstein shocks all around. Seventeen inch mag dualies with 32" Nitto Grapplers, including matched spare. Onan 4kw generator has only 24.5 hours. Heavy Duty 4x4 front bumper with front 2" receiver for rack or tray. Rear tow hitch with secondary hitch mounted to rear bumper which holds bike racks or trays a bit higher for extra clearance. LED bar light mounted behind the grill illuminates the road nicely. Six hundred watts of solar panels. Four 100 watt panels run a 110 volt system that has two dedicated batteries in trays under the floor and a 2500 watt inverter. This allows the refrigerator to run on solar when the sun is shining and into the evening depending on conditions and other usage, and then propane thru the night or in clouds. Two 100 watt panels charge the 12 volt house batteries under the step, which have been upgraded to Very Large Deep Cycles. One of the two panels for the 12 volt system is clipped to the rear of the RV, and can be easily removed and placed in the sun when parked in shade. Exterior in nice shape, with tough Raptor bed liner accent added to base. Air Tab vortex generators at rear boost fuel economy and eliminate buffeting when passing/passed by semis. Replaced stock ladder with a tougher/lower profile unit. Interior in good shape. Neoprene seat covers since new. Swivel passenger seat. Installed a compact stainless steel wood burning stove with glass panels, along with a steel top pedestal that has firewood storage below. This micro wood stove heats the rig nicely, adds excellent ambiance, eliminates noisy furnace fan/battery use, and has made four season, four wheel drive skiing adventures awesome! Great for cool mornings/evenings, warming food/water, and drying wet gear. The stove can be removed to create an extra bench seat in minutes. The original swivel chair(with as new upholstery) can be bolted right back in too. LED lighting complements the existing interior lighting package. Overhead AC blows cold, rarely used. Fantastic Fan in front, secondary reversing overhead vent in rear, as well as bath fan. Propane furnace. Back up camera. Amplified sound system. Garmin GPS. Swingarm TV with integrated DVD. This Thor model is simple and rugged, with great storage in the rear, and a sewer drain that is tucked up relatively high for improved clearance. Chevy V-8 runs perfect!
