Description
Do we have a treat for you? Yes we do! I’ve got this Charming 1965 Airstream Safari 22 Twin available on consignment. This rig has been fully restored to its original glory From chassis up in 2010, and has been barn kept since 1997. This unit resides in Marathon, Fl. All the original parts and furniture we able to be salvaged for the project minus the Fridge and Dinette. The twin beds were taken in so they are more like couches now for more floor space. The seat cushions were custom reupholstered and look fabulous.

Hitch Weight - 350 lbs

A Univolt electrical system powers the radio, lights, pump, and fans. The unit operates on 30amp, 120v, and 12v.
The water system in this rig provides full service both when city water is available and when the trailer is operating completely self contained. City water hose connects on left rear of trailer. 30 Gallon fresh water tank. 15 gallon sewage tank. Marine toilet with added bidet to reduce waste and preserve the sewage system.
LPG system lines are in tact for water heater, furnace and stove. Needs to be appropriately tested as I have not cooked inside and I have enjoyed cold showers in the southern heat.
Needs minor renovation to repair a crack in the bathroom sink and the unit does not have a AC.
Two closets, wall-to-wall storage under bed and couches. I fit all of my clothes, dog training tools, pots, pans, food, and grill set up for outdoors in here!
Polished and has very* minor dents/scratches from traveling all over southern USA and living in it full time. Barn kept when not traveling. Insane amount of storage!!!
This has been my home and I’d love for someone to have it that can appreciate the small time capsule that it is or for whatever project they want to re-invent it for. I just want it to be loved!! Hauls like butter behind my F150 and ready to be on the road. I have most every receipt and note that went into the restoration back in 2010. Pure love and grit put into this trailer. It may not be technologically advanced as new rigs but pretty cool to have a rig from 1965 that you can refer to its original manual with. Old-but new. Simple and efficient. FL title in hand and ready to go.
