We purchased our 2003 VW RIALTA in 2021 with the intention of making it our dream get away vehicle, and so invested it with our style of reliable ultralight travel. Our travel needs have changed dramatically since we left New Mexico, and so we offer this for sale.

This 2003 VW Winnebago Rialta QD has a powerful VW 201hp 24 Valve gasoline VR6 engine with only 116,745 Engine miles, and a rebuilt low mileage (7,250 miles) transmission with a cooler. The performance and gas mileage is further enhanced by the removal of its original low end generator and aging roof top air conditioner.

Our updating included modernizing the Galley by replacing the Norcold Refrigerator with portable Dometic coolers [NOT INCLUDED] and replacing the underpowered Propane 2 burner Cook Top with a cutting board. In the rear living area, we installed easy to clean laminate flooring and custom cabinetry as a platform for the rear queen bed.

Potential Buyers who want an RV with more of a standard kit should note: RIVERSIDE MOBILE RV SERVICE of Duluth estimates a NEW ROOF TOP AIR CONDITIONER would cost $1500 to $1750. If a new GENERATOR cost another $2000 or so, total cost for this RV would be $24k!

Our Rialta has a Rear Queen Bed platform that is 80” wide x 52” deep. We use a pictured but NOT INCLUDED Exped inflatable MegaMat Duo over INCLUDED Memory Foam for our mattress. The Rialta will sleep another one or two people in the 72x40" Forward Bed when the Companion Seats behind Front Seats are rearranged into a flat space.
