Description
SALE PENDING. NOT ACCEPTING OFFERS ON CAMPER AT THE MOMENT. Let me know if you’re interested in the truck only, and I’ll reconnect with you if the camper sale goes through.
A great 4x4 expedition truck camper, with roof-top solar, dual 100-amp-hr batteries, 30-gal fresh water tank allows extended off-grid stays. Camper is a 2013 Lance 855, mounted on a 2015 GMC 3500HD diesel 4x4 with 104k miles. I am the only owner on both truck and camper. The camper is in Tubac, AZ.
The camper is available separately from the truck, but not vice versa. The two together are available at a bundled price of $50,000; the camper alone is $23,000. The combined truck/camper has a very stable, comfortable drive thanks to the air shocks, sway bar, and Torklift tie downs with FastGun buckles.
The camper is an Lance 855 slide in truck camper (see window sticker in photos). It is very clean and comforatble for two; a couple kids could sleep by converting the dining table, or using the over-table fold down. The furnace and air conditioner have kept us comfortable from 20F to 110F. The roof-top solar is sufficient to run all 12V systems indefinitely in full sun, while the dual propane tanks can power the fridge, water heater and furnace for a couple weeks of typical use. The propane generator powers the 120V systems (A/C, microwave). The side awning has been removed; rear awning remains.
The truck is a 2015 GMC HD3500 4WD CREW SRW SLE short bed (see window sticker in photos). VIN 1GT422E81FF566096. Brand new BFG All Terrain T/A KO2 tires front and back. Includes: Fabtec DEF skid plate, Firestone rear air shocks, heavy-duty rear sway bar, low-profile Weather Guard tool box, TorkLift frame-mounted tie-downs with FastGun turnbuckles and locks.
Generally in good shape, with dings and scratches from life as a ranch truck. Issues:
• Rear back up camera needs new wire-harness plug
• Driver side mirror lacks trim (but functions fine)
• Radio system sometimes freaks out – continuous station changes. Problem is not duplicatable, and usually resolves after truck is restarted
