Description
Like New - Used 12 Nights - 2021 Cougar 29BHS
We bought this fantastic trailer brand new right as I started a new company and have hardly had time to use it. It's time for someone else to get the enjoyment this premium trailer was designed to deliver.
We decked out this RV -- cellular internet wifi, two air conditioners, two propane tanks, two batteries, window shades in the doors and a Reese weight distribution hitch. We even upgraded all the tires to 10 ply rated Trailer King RST's -- including the spare.
The Cougar 29BHS comes standard with a 50" 4K television, and a good stereo system with DVD and Bluetooth so you can play music from your smart devices. It has multiple indoor speakers and two outdoor speakers under the power-driven awning.
There's an outdoor kitchen with a Capital gas grill and a small refrigerator and LED lighting. It has an outdoor shower to wash the sand off after you hit the beach and the trailer can run on either 30 or 50 amp power sources.
There's a gas grill and oven, of course, and the oversized refrigerator will run on electricity but automatically cuts over to propane if the power goes out. The unit is prewired for solar but we didn't add the panels.
This unit comes with the Lippert Ground Control self-leveling system, which makes this trailer act like the Mars Lander once it's unhitched: hit a button and it lowers the jacks automatically and perfectly levels the trailer. And don't worry if you're on uneven ground -- the system is designed to literally lift wheels off the ground if necessary to level the trailer. Another button automatically sets the hitch to "Auto Hitch Height" so it's easy to hook up again when you're done camping.
There's pass-through storage at the front of the trailer and lots of storage in other places -- including a cavernous opening behind the big TV and a huge storage space under the king size bed in the master. The window above that bed has a built-in shade.
The only defect in the trailer is that there's decorative LED lighting on the front that you can switch on to make dramatic entrances when you enter the campground, I guess. Some of these have burned out. They're totally unnecessary and we only used them once to impress my sister-in-law.
We had the unit wired for a rear-view camera but you'll have to add your own.
Overall, this is a nearly-new 2021 luxury RV that we bought for the life we wish we had rather than the life we actually have. Our loss is your gain.
