The rear private bedroom with a queen Serta, nightstands on each side, and plenty of wardrobe space, plus handy electrical outlets contribute to a great camping experience. There is a smooth flow of traffic in and out of the bedroom with double entry doors. It is fun to relax on the 67" hide-a-bed sofa in front of the fireplace while listening to music or watching TV. At first, I thought the fireplace was a bit over the top, but it is really very useful. Not only does it supply a relaxing glow, but it is often the only heat needed on a cool evening. Manuals and literature about the unit are in the factory-supplied satchel. One of the pieces of literature shares that this travel trailer is comfortable, lightweight, fun, and accommmodating (all true). Other words used are stylish and dependable (also true). The thermostatically-controlled heated holding tanks and enclosed under belly keep the unit protected from the cold, and the six-sided aluminum cage construction and surface-coated steel I-beam frame deliver a strong base for everything to be built on top. Radius roof with interior vaulted ceilings provide an open environment, and the exterior also has an outside shower and speakers for extra convenience. The gas grill is still in the unopened box in the kitchen exterior storage compartment.
The Rockwood is a joy. We are the original owners and nonsmokers, but our changing health situation has nudged us to find a new home for this excellent Forest River Rockwood. When not in use, the camper has always been maintained under roof.
