Description

We have enjoyed this camper since we bought it brand new in 2018. Travel trailers are built with the smallest axles they can put under them, so naturally they are too small once you load your things and put water in the tank. A few years ago I bent two axles within a year of each other, so I invested around $5,000 for a 6,000lb axle upgrade at Croft Trailer - making this a 12,000lb max camper (previous axles were 3,500lb). The spare tire matches the new 6-lug wheels. I upgraded the roof a/c to a 15,000BTU unit around 2 years ago and it works great. The roof was resealed at a dealership 2 years ago for preventative maintenance - the camper has never leaked. Many additions and upgrades. I can include a weight distributing hitch with sway bar, custom fit window coverings, power cord, hose, sewer line, etc. Everything works as it should and if anything ever broke or stopped working, it was fixed or replaced/upgraded. Pet-free smoke-free family. We went through a few campers before we decided on the Grand Design because it has all of the bells and whistles that you want in a camper. We recently bought a cabin at Lake of the Ozarks so we will not be using this camper anymore. It has been a great memory-builder for us but it is ready for the next family. Recently deep-cleaned and ready to go camping!
