Description
This is a PRE-DEF unit!
Sharp-looking silver/blue/black colors, recent comprehensive visit to the Newmar "mothership" last spring for a thorough going-over. The work order is available if requested for serious potential buyers.
Spartan K2 chassis, Cummins ISM 500HP motor, Allison HD4000MH transmission.
The coach is also very pretty inside with cherry wood cabinets, with the excellent build quality of Newmars from this era. She is a very well-maintained coach with many upgrades, including new Lifeline AGM house batteries 3 years ago, new steer tires last year, Winegard auto-tracking satellite antenna with Dish system, new Sony XAV-AX1000 stereo (Bluetooth and XM/Sirius), and a residential fridge. Genset is an Onan 10KW with 2007 hrs. The main circuit board in the Onan is new as of 4 years ago (the old board had an intermittent issue) and will run happily for days/weeks at a time when needed.
M&G air brake system installed for the TOAD, with Spartan's DoT-approved air supply installed on the tag axle and an air quick connect near the hitch receiver. Roadmaster Nighthawk tow bar included. Was used to tow a Yukon XL.
Also comes with a good set of travelling spares (e.g. all belts, water pump, etc), Garmin RV nav system and set of 6 MagnaShade tire covers.
The coach also will come with a new-in-box replacement Dometic Penguin a/c unit for the rear bedroom unit (which is still running fine). The front two A/C units were already replaced, Newmar said the third unit showed signs of age, the replacement arrived over the winter.
Also comes with a front hydraulic leg and spring set that arrived over the winter from HWH. The front right leg works fine and retract time is in spec but not as fast as the front left so I ordered a new one from HWH.
Many of the pics were taken a week or so ago as I took it out of winter storage at Vault Motor storage in NH where it has wintered for the 6 years I have owned it. It has just had its spring maintenance up in NH oil and filter for the coach engine, fuel filters for the coach engine, oil and filters for the generator, and all-new engine belts.
Reason for selling? Bitten by the sailboat bug . I would love to see this trusty friend go to a good home.
