Description
A Hobbyist's dream. This 2003 Coachmen Mirada 340MBS was purchased in 2019 with the intention of completely overhauling the interior, upgrading some of the mechanical elements, and enjoying it for years to come. Purchased for $20,000 with an additional $14,000 invested. NOT looking for the $14k back, just would like to recover my inital purchase cost. Why am I selling? Service-disabled veteran dealing with yet another cancer battle, chemo treatments (until Dec 2024), and my dreams of being able to use this in the future is no longer a reality. Is what it is. Have ZERO issue proving my situation should you have doubts.
ANYWAYS. Let's talk RV.
First, it runs great BUT it still needs a little work (as I will explain below). Engine is in fantastic shape, new transmission, new batteries, new circuit breaker board, MANY new items, and VERY low miles (roughly 21000). A ton of work has already been done on it.
Let's start with the interior.
The entire interior has been ripped out and remodeled. New floors, seating, new kitchen & backsplash, new walk-in shower (with bench), porcelain toilet, blinds & window treatments installed by Budget Blinds, entire inside repainted and decorated. New storage shelving has been installed giving the bedroom a ton of storage. 2 new flat screen TVs installed. Competely new fuse panel. AC / Heat works great. No issues with the kitchen, stove. Refrigerator works fine. Backup camera works fine.
Exterior.
As stated, it now has a new transmission, 2 new levelers, new tires, 2 new batteries (coach and starter), new battery disconnect, new wipers, new electric door lock (with keys and code optoin) on main door, some new locks on the exterior storage compartments. Propane tank works great. Grey and Black tanks are fine.
What's still needed to be done?
A new canopy is needed. The water heater or water heater panel needs to be replaced. Water heater isn't leaking, it's just not heating. New seals on the windows should be installed. I have the seals. While 2 new levelers have been installed, 2 more could be installed. They all work, just could use 2 more. New spare tire cover needed. The one I have has a crack.
I don't think the rest of all this is a massive cost, especially since I already have the seals. I just don't have the physical ability to do this anymore. I could work out a deal with a buyer to have some work done based on the agreement we come to. I will be taking more pictures soon.
