SOLD We have had many great adventures and fun. Plus it always puts a smile on our faces when we pull into a campground in the classiest rig around. Keep in mind "Catbird" is a 'Travel-Van' not a motorhome. It shines while on the move but is still comfortable for extended stays. With T.V.'s front and back and the dual-purpose bathroom door a couple can have space doing their own thing if desired. The twin beds are very comfortable and are very easy and quick to makeup. Provided cushions can be placed in the middle making it a King-sized bed if desired. You can also make-up a third bed using the front lounge seats and an included cushion. The refrigerator and freezer are perfectly sized and the doors open from either side. We never used the 3 burner cooktop but it is there in addition to the convection microwave oven. Storage both inside and in basement compartments is generous. When prepping and cleaning I was shocked at the pile of 'stuff' we were carrying. The Air Conditioner is super-efficient and can freeze us out. The overhead vent fan is quiet and pulls in outside air very efficiently, typically cool enough for us if we are parked in the shade.

The Mercedes is a dream to drive and easy to park. Adaptive cruise control, lane maintenance, fingertip systems controls, big information screen, plus more bells and whistles than should be allowed. Highway speeds and back roads are comfortable with no swaying or other distracting big rig anomalies--drives like a big car. The turbo V-6 and superb gearing allows passing and merge maneuvering seem effortless. Paddle shifters make curvy, hilly driving fun. Fuel mileage averages 17.1 mpg or 15 mpg if towing our matching color 2400 lb. Chevy Spark. The backup camera and the 4-point hydraulic self-leveling allows us to park and be set-up with utilities in less than 5 minutes. The Winegard Road-Trip T-4 allows passenger to stay up with TV news/entertainment while on the road with an open sky. The 200 watt solar panels keeps the house batteries charged for brief stops without running the generator. The 3.6 kw Onan LP generator is wonderful for warm weather stops if Air Conditioning is desired.

Off-season storage has been under cover. No exposure to salted winter roads. Only approximately 5 days near the Gulf never close to shore. 20,000 mile Mercedes service completed. Includes Blackstone Grill setup for quick LP connection.
