Description

The Monaco Vesta is a Class A motorhome that allows you to take luxury to the open road with a 300 horsepower engine. She’s been stored in a heated garage since she was purchased (October 1st, 2012) and has only driven 16,184 miles. Sporting multiple upgrades and additions, this is a uniquely gorgeous RV with a long lifetime still ahead of her. We usually get 10 miles per gallon of diesel, even while towing a smart car, but we have reached 11 mpg before. There are two rear cameras, one specifically pointed where the front wheels of a towed vehicle would be. A lot of her upgrades serve to make her sturdier and more self-sufficient, so if you’re thinking about taking extended trips or even living in an RV full time this is definitely one to consider. We’re including all the replacement parts/operation accessories we’ve collected, a lot of which had to be specially ordered.

She’s equipped with a true-center spring-loaded system that helps the motorhome balance itself (hold its center), which is very helpful if you have a front tire blow out. You can also adjust the RV’s center if you’re having problems with wind while on the road if you’re savvy and inclined.

As a whole the exterior cabinets have been heavily modified, originally most were empty space. We added lots of outlets, lights, and relocated the fuel filter into one so that it is easily accessible. These cabinets also contain a pull out wash basin, a cooler, a portable gas stove, a 24" TV that slides out on a rail, and the largest cabinet has had carpet-lined drawers installed for tool storage.

Inside, we installed an isolator to the chassis relay that allows you to make the chassis battery your primary battery (or vice versa). This ensures that the chassis battery, which is responsible for starting the generator, will not be depleted if the house battery is.

In the bedroom, what was previously one cumbersome bed has been exchanged for much more accessible modified twin adjustable Tempur Pedic mattresses. The built in nightstand contains a storage drawer equipped with four outlets. There are also outlets above the head of the beds. Twin closets adorn the foot of the beds, each with a lockable drawer underneath and a rung for clothes hangers. The closet next to the shower can be unscrewed from the wall and moved to access the plumbing of the shower.
