I purchased this vehicle from the original builders "Our way to Roam" back in December 2022. I planned to live in it full time and life handed me a different deck of cards. My loss and your gain. It's been slept in a total of 5 nights. You are able to view the entire build on "Our Way to Roam" youtube channel. Comes with 5 gallon heater for hot showers, a heated floor for those cold mornings, a propane fire place for warmth and ambience. Plenty of storage with creative compartments, included is an oversized fridge and a small freezer to heat up pizzas in your new oven. This vehicle is a 2021 Chevy Express Unicell box van made by Chevy and outfitted with the single fiberglass piece box by Unicell. While it’s year is listed as 2021, it was actually manufactured in 2022 after 2020 production delays. What first drew us to this type of vehicle was it’s single fiberglass piece body. Not only is this body style designed by Unicell to be more aerodynamic (which saves gas money!) but it’s also one continuous piece with no seams. Leaks can be a big issue with box trucks but this body style completely removes that risk!During the build process, we documented every step in a 22 part build series. We sat down every week to talk about our product choices and show you what it takes to convert a regular moving van like this into a dream home. Throughout the series we showed both our triumphs and setbacks and talked about everything we learned in the process. This box van has been designed specifically with off-grid capability in mind. Over 1,000hrs of skilled labor went into the complete overhaul & customization of the interior and exterior of the Unicell. The box was custom framed with 1×2 steel tubing and each door and window was meticulously placed for the ultimate interior layout. We put our 5 years of nomadic living knowledge into this design with an emphasis on functionality and craftsmanship.
