Description
Up for sale is a 2008 Winnebago View 24J. I've had it maintained by the Sprinter Doctor in Tucson AZ (look him up - all 5-star reviews). We've enjoyed taking our small family on adventures in this rig. The family is growing so we need a bit more space but we've updated it with things that make life a little easier. I won't go into details on the stock specs since, unless I mention something in this post, they are all as advertised by Winnebago. I usually get between 12-14 mpg depending on how much I'm carrying.
Chassis:
- 107k miles
- Struts are 2 years old
- Shocks are 1 year old
- Sumo springs on the front and rear axles
- 4 of the 6 tires are less than 2 years old (all 6 have plenty of life left and no cracking)
- Windshield is less than 1 year old
- Tireminder tire pressure/temperature sensors on all tires
- Bluetooth Radio
- (Full list of maintenance available since August 2022)
Coach:
- New Air Conditioner
- New roof hatch
- Carpet replaced with luxury vinyl flooring (I have extra planks too)
- Child Safety rails for top bunk
- Propane quick connect
- USB Ports installed throughout the coach
- New Shower Head
- Most lights replaced with LEDs
The child safety rails are built by me with the intent to keep our kids from accidentally rolling out of bed. The rails themselves slide into 4 brackets I made and screwed into the frame. It's very easy to just remove the rails if you want. The brackets match the color scheme of the interior.
Full Disclosure:
- Passenger side front wheel squeaks. The sprinter doctor inspected it and offered to spend my money to tear it apart to fix the squeak but that it was perfectly safe. Since it goes away around 45 mph I just let it be.
- There is damage to a panel on the driver's side behind the rear wheel. This comes from some previous wheel damage. Everything but this panel was repaired. There is no damage to structural components. You could have someone replace this panel to make it look better.
