Description
Wonderful trailer for a traveling professional and their family (sleeps 8).
Upgrades include:
Sailun S637 14-ply G-rated tires installed about 18 months ago.
Disc brake upgrade - hydraulic over electric. Made a HUGE DIFFERENCE in the braking capability of the trailer.
Progressive Industries 50A hard wired surge and brownout protector with monitor in the trailer.
PepWave Mobile modem/router with 4 sim card slots and numerous antennas for picking up wifi and distributing it through the trailer. 9-way Husky antenna installed on the roof to extend usable range. I had no problem working as a Tech Support rep from the road!
Solid wood desk installed in the left front slide for the traveling professional.
Splendide washer dryer combo, works great!
RV Air Flow inserts in A/C units to increase efficiency of cold air distribution through the unit and also reduces the noise somewhat.
Tire pressure monitor system that syncs to your phone and allows you to manually configure alerts for pressure AND temperature.
Fully cleaned 36 gallon Rhino honey wagon included.
Weighs just under 12K pounds dry. 14K pounds GVWR allows for a lot of stuff to be brought aboard and be able to travel safely. Huge amounts of storage throughout and underneath.seriously, it's crazy.
49 gallon fresh water, 38 gallon black water and 76 gallon gray water tanks.
Entry door was recently replaced under warranty as the old one (glass front) was de-laminating from the core of the door. Notoriously leaky sliding glass shower doors removed, everything caulked and a shower curtain installed.
Filled the large holes cut in the body that accommodate plumbing with expanding rigid foam for insulation purposes and also used steel wool in the area to keep out rodents.
Known Issues: Docking lights don't work, very common for these apparently. They are for decoration only, they are not required by law. Some small dings on the stainless steel refrigerator. Struts on bed platform tore out of the supports the 3rd or 4th time that we used them, just didn't replace because it is so rare that we needed to get under the bed. One propane tank holding strap is a bit loose so I just put a tiny zip tie on the latch if we were going to be moving the trailer. Drawer under the oven is a bit finicky to close if you are in a hurry, just take it slow and it is fine.
These trailers can frequently be found for $55-60K used and without the upgrades that our trailer has.
