Well taken care of by mechanically astute husband and neat obsessed spouse. Non-smoker usage. Used for warm weather vacations. Was not used for hunting, cold weather, or party events. We love this trailer but are moving across the country to be with our grandkids and can’t take it with us. Heavy sigh. Hope for another Airstream in our future someday. This 28 foot trailer is the perfect size. Not too big - not too small. Easily towed by our F-150 in the mountains. (7600# GVWR - 899# hitch weight).
The trailer comes with an added bed extension allowing the twin beds to be turned into a larger queen-size area to stretch out in when you feel like you need the extra space. Also added is an “as needed” kitchen countertop extension when you are using large cooking appliances like a Ninja-foodie or crock pot. Both extensions are stored away efficiently and out of the way inside the trailer when not in use.
No accidents. Minor dent and bent strip underneath the carriage. Had all warranty issues addressed by Airstream so everything works to specification. Winterized each year. Waxed each year. AGM batteries are stored at home and periodically charged.
