Description
Was featured on Winnebago’s website in 2018 when we were traveling across county. It was never my intension to ever sell it. I had dreams of going to Winnebago rally’s and classic car shows. Unfortunately, due to health and separation, it is forcing my hand. Because time of the essence the person closest to my asking price will be the proud owners of something I have loved (still love) very much. My deepest hopes is it goes to someone that will continue to care, so it lives on. The value will only continue to go up.
Please don't ask mech questions, you can google. I am a glamper, not a camper. All mechanical restorations or replacements I have record of during my ownership and some prior. It has its own dehumidifier, battery tender and gets cranked up about every two weeks to run for about ten minutes. I did a video walk around when I was urged to sell it. I had hoped other things would work out and purposefully avoided finding the right buyer. Since that video has been made, it was winterized and taken home. Please be patient with me. I have a brain injury, and heart issues. I will check the inbox once everyday.
Laymen terms whats been done.
New: Fuel tanks/pumps (2). Hoses, belts, tires, brakes, transmission (about 2,000 miles ago), ignition, batteries, cables, connectors, etc. Just imagine it all new or six years old.Roof Sealed every two years.
To do's: Windows should be resealed every four months. The wipers are bad. Needs a new windshield wiper container as the original was just to old, briddle, then leaked. $15 on Amazon. Was asking 31K but the windshield has a crack. I was quoted 1500 for a new one. So, I came down for that. You can see the crack in the video. Generator has always been maintained. Hours are 886.0. I mentioned I was a glamper. I don’t like gas running while I am in a confined space, and I have no desire it being located under the bed. So I didn't use it. I parking lot camped and RV resorted. We were always allowed to stay at the nicer resorts. We just sent them photos of our classic and they were excited to have us. As you can see much of the inside is new. Fridge and microwave that has not been used. There is room for a much larger fridge or microwave. I used the extra space for food storage. There is not a moment where I step inside it that I don’t smile. It takes me back. I never get over people taking photos of it when out in public either. It is a very special lil Class A.
