Meticulously maintained “couples coach”! My wife and I bought our 50th Anniversary Phaeton to travel the country full time, and we did just that! Unfortunately, my wife experienced a second stroke which is forcing us to move back to a more permanent living arrangement. The coach has been maintained through Tiffin Service Center, Bay Diesel, Red Bay, AL; and Freightliner Custom Chassis, Gaffney, SC. We modified the dining area for better storage and accessibility by replacing the booth dinette with a hutch/computer workstation, table and two chairs. This coach is equipped with hydraulic slide-outs on all four slides – no concerns with slow, cumbersome Schwintek electric slides. One of the most enjoyable things we have enjoyed are the heated floors, never-ending hot water from the Aquahot boiler system, and the convenience of an in-coach stackable washer and dryer. The basement pass-thru access from two bays enabled quick and easy storage via the MohrRyde slide out trays, the queen bed sleeper sofa allows guest to enjoy a peaceful sleep on the air mattress. The 10K Onan generator allows for boondocking, we have ensured the generator has been run monthly for a minimum of 2 hours under load (A/Cs or Heat Pumps), 4 LG televisions (3 internal, 1 external), LG residential refrigerator, spacious pantry, induction stove and convection microwave.
