Description
Sale pending 13 October.
We've owned this coach for 9 years. We bought it in 2014 with only 4,000 miles on it. Two closets, a decent bathroom, easy driving, and great gas mileage (11-13 on the road, about 8 stop 'n' go). We've owned five other RVs: an 18ft Shasta, a Sunline 2363, a Winnebago Vista, a Coach House 272, and a Flagstaff 21 FBRS. Liked them all but this is our favorite by a mile and the one we've kept the longest. It's in great shape. I've made lots of mods and kept up on maintenance, but have needed only a few repairs. We've enjoyed it, but now we want more room.
Some of my mods:
- I put the TV on a piano hinge and swing arm so it can be in the middle of the coach at eye level.
- Dream dinette. They said it couldn't be done, but I did it. Simplifies converting to a bed.
- Replaced combo micro wave and range with separate microwave and induction cook top.
- Added tube for sewer hose.
- Upgraded lights to led inside and the rear.
- Cellular Shades on couch and dinette windows.
- Fridge vent fan up top.
- Upgraded exhaust fan in bathroom.
- Converted automatic entry step to switched. (Auto was slow and offered face plant opportunities.)
- Added rear view wi-fi camera that powers up with tail lights provides for full time rear view.
- Replaced gas absorption fridge with residential Magic Chef 7.4, a dedicated 100 ah LiFePo4 battery, 1000 Watt inverter, monitor, remote, automatic transfer switch and charger.
Maintenance and repair (not including routine stuff like oil changes and filter replacements):
- Replaced converter (2022).
- Replaced step motor (2021).
- Replaced headlights, parking lights and hazy lenses (2023).
- Sealed and recoated roof (2023).
- Painted decals (2022 and 2023).
- New tires (Firestone Transforce HT2) and alignment (2023).
This coach has served us well on trips to Utah (twice), South Dakota, Michigan and Tennessee. We still like it and have some ambivalence about selling, but we want a larger coach for longer trips. 4000 Watt Onan generator with ATS. (320 hours) Gas Water heater. Not sure if holding tank heaters work. It hasn't been cold enough to check and we've never used them. Working on it. I'll put on new pads if necessary. Virtually rust free, it stays in my driveway during the winter. Fewer than 26,000 miles. If you're looking for a small, well kept unit at a reasonable price, you'll be hard pressed to find a better one.
