One of the Good Old Roadtreks! At 21' it fits into a regular parking space, yet is well-equipped for boondocking. "Pappa Bear" is built on a Freightliner chasis, with a Mercedes diesel engine. Has a new transmission and radiator and a new coach battery. Tires are all terrain and there's a spare tire in a carrier on the back.
Tows well and we got 18mpg towing a trailer back from Wisconsin to ABQ. Around town about 16 mpg. The Mercedes Diesel has been well maintained by Silver Star Autohause. Has a sofa along the back that converts to a King width bed. Has a 3way refrigerator, propane stove, toilet and shower, 10 gallon water heater, central heater, AC unit, a roof vent that also heats, a microwave oven. Shore power is a 30 amp system, but also has a propane generator with low hours. TV and DVD, along with an AM/FM radio and CD player and connections for phone or Ipad.
