Lightly used 2018 Airstream Flying Cloud 23FB with >$7,500 of extras—optimized for boondocking and staying out for longer! This travel trailer has been lovingly maintained and stored inside a climate-controlled facility for the majority of our ownership. The first owners (2018-2020) only used it a handful of times before selling it to us. We took six trips in it during the COVID years (2020-2022) and have not used it in 2023. I estimate we’ve put about 2,500 miles on it. We’re selling because our life circumstances have changed, and we no longer have much time for camping trips (sadly!).Extras:
– 400 watts of solar. This makes it easy to stay out for many days in comfort, even without hookups.
– 6V AGM batteries. The stock Airstream batteries are traditional flooded batteries by Interstate. They require monthly maintenance with distilled water. These AGM (absorbed glass mat) batteries will not spill and will not gas, and they don’t require monthly watering because they’re sealed. They also have greater capacity than the stock Airstream batteries. When combined with 400 watts of solar, this extends your camping time when you don’t have hookups.
– ProPride 3P Trailer Sway Control & Weight Distribution Hitch. The most advanced trailer sway control hitch available—I would not tow without it. Reduces scary sway and movement on the highway due to passing trucks, high winds, or suboptimal weight distribution on the tow vehicle. – Rear bumper & 2″ receiver hitch. This allows hitch-mounted accessories to be attached to the back of the Airstream. We used a Kuat 4-bike rack on our trips so we could bring our mountain bikes.
– Backup camera. So much easier to tow on the highway and get into campsites with this!
– 1″ lift kit: provides extra ground clearance. Great for boondocking.
– TST tire pressure monitoring system. Monitors the Airstream’s tire pressure and temperature and sends real-time info to a wireless color monitor. – LevelMate Pro. A Bluetooth RV leveling tool, allowing fast and accurate single-person leveling even in challenging campsites.
