This has been a fantastic camper for us! We are the original owners of this Salem FSX, and we have had many enjoyable days and nights around the campfire in this RV. This was our first camper, and we have thoroughly enjoyed our entry into the RVing lifestyle. We would love to keep this camper; however, we have recently acquired a Class C RV, and will be using that RV for our camping experiences. We made a few upgrades to the FSX since buying it new from the dealership. One of the first upgrades we made was to change out the mattress that came with the RV to a memory foam mattress, and that new mattress is included in the sale. Another upgrade that we made to the RV was to replace the faucet in the bathroom with a residential style faucet. The original tires were replaced and upgraded to Goodyear Endurance tires during the Summer of 2022. The date codes on the tires are 5221 and 0122, so there is plenty of life left in these tires. Since installing the Goodyear tires, we have only put about 500 miles on them. The largest change we made to the camper was to remove the dinette and install a free-standing table and chairs. The table is from IKEA and fits the space very well. Since the camper has no slides, the space taken up by the dinette was significant. By removing the dinette for the table and chairs set up, the space feels much more open and useable. We have kept all of the parts of the dinette, to include the cushions, so it can be easily reassembled and reinstalled if the new owner chooses to do so. Another modification we made was to replace the manual tongue jack with a power tongue jack. The power tongue jack plugs into the vehicle’s trailer connection for power, and we have had no issues with it. The manual tongue jack is a great backup and will be included with the camper. One additional upgrade we made to the camper was to install a larger fan for airflow in the front of the RV. All in all, it is a great couples or small family camper that has served us very well.
