Description
This RV is in excellent condition and has been extraordinarily well cared for by our family. We purchased it in 2016 and have enjoyed it for seven years. We have someone wash and wax it each year. When we were looking for an RV for our family, we knew we needed to accommodate my wife and I as well as our two growing sons and maybe some of their friends or cousins. This floor layout I would argue is one of the absolute best for family camping. The bunkhouse is amazing and has its own TV. The futon in that area folds down to a bed, and there is a door between that section and the master bedroom, and there is another door that allows you to close off the back of the RV to the kitchen and living area. The Sunseeker is one of the best designs for family camping and it is easy and comfortable to drive. There are three TVs internally for those rainy days and there's one TV outside under the awning for catching a sports game by the campfire. The V10 in this is a tried-and-true Ford engine that has great torque and is super reliable. Everything in the RV is functional. The Cummins generator runs perfectly and will power the entire RV, including heat and AC if you are boondocking and don't have another power source, or if you simply have friends over that are going to sleep in the RV. It runs off the truck fuel. This RV has a 3 burner propane cooktop, with a cover included, a microwave, and an oven that has been used less than 5 times. We installed a new kitchen faucet and shower head. It has an outdoor shower but we found that was primarily valuable for cleaning pots and pans for the grill. The RV had new tires at 12,294 miles ($1,295), a new (this season) rear view camera ($863), which captures the view and sound (that feature can be turned off). We also had the coach sound in the kitchen/living room rewired to run from the mid-coach sound system ($1,169). The RV is set up for towing, and we have successfully towed our jeep for several years using the blue ox method. It also has a Firestone air suspension and an auto leveling system when setting up for camp. Most of our camping has been in the Northeast as you can tell by the low mileage, although we did take a trip to South Carolina. This rig is very comfortable for longer trips, and there are several seatbelts that you and your family can use and be comfortable throughout the RV, including sitting at the table, at the couch, and the futon.
This RV has never been driven on the beach. There is no rust.
