2008 Chevy Silverado ¾ ton Duramax diesel with Allison transmission and tow package. One owner, crew cab, 190,000+ miles. Color is dark blue. Does not use DEF. Comes with A.R.E. topper (new 2022 -$4000) set up for truck camping in the back. The slant roof provides head room for comfortable living, with screened windows, and roof vent. Ambulance doors in the back make for easy entrance and exits without having to climb over the tailgate. Yakima rails are factory installed on the roof, but you will need to supply your own towers and bars. The original tailgate is of course included in the price.
The build out back bed of the truck includes cabinetry and bedding - includes modular units with drawers, small pump sink, platforms to sleep 2 and the tri-fold mattresses to fit the space. The modular setup allows a single person to completely install or remove the camping gear in less than 20 minutes. Also included; 1000W Jackery portable power station and 200W of portable solar charging panels, a small microwave oven for easy living off the grid, an awning by Ironman 4x4 (you will need the aforementioned Yakima or similar bars to mount) as well as a hitch mounted luggage rack. Truck runs well. It has been serviced regularly and we enjoyed traveling to bike trails and National Parks camping along the way. Being closer to 70 years of age now, we have gone a different direction in our travel vehicle and are ready to pass this to another generation of travelers. Would make a great hunting truck or is ready to pull whatever trailer you want to include.
