Sweet home away from home. 2021 Grand Design Reflection 337RLS is incredibly livable with loads of storage and room to move. Only 2 years old and packed with all the extras that make life more comfortable. Push button auto level makes this fifth wheel easy to set up. Clean, non smoking, stored under cover. Title in hand.
We added extras from dealer before we picked it up: slide toppers on all three slides, Snap pads on all four feet, 190W solar kit with charge controller, Fantastic fans in bathroom and bedroom, Vent top covers in bathroom and kitchen - fans can used in the rain, Bug screens on fridge vents, furnace vents, & tankless water heater vent; 2nd battery and box.
After years of hauling heavy horse trailers, we knew we wanted a gooseneck hitch that can be easily removed so the truck bed is free for other items when not towing fifth wheel. So we had a new Reece 20K hitch delivered to our dealer and they installed it before we arrived on pick up day. The air ride can easily be adjusted which gives smooth clunk-free towing. We have towed this with a 3500 diesel dually short bed using an offset goose ball hitch with no problems.
We purchased this great fifth wheel to help us move from OH to TN while we searched for a house. We lived and worked here very comfortably for five months. During that time we also added more items for safety and convenience: Pepwave modem mobile internet with roof mounted flat antenna which allowed us to work remotely while camping (speeds up to 100 Mbps - has 2 SIM card slots for your carriers), Lippert solid entry steps, Splendide washer/dryer combo, a custom built desk with matching monitor stands for 2 workspaces across the back. (Currently loveseat is in place but if you want desk instead, it sits atop the side tables with center back support); gasStop 100% automatic shut-off on each propane tank in case of emergency, Oxygenics shower head with added all metal shut off to save water; 50amp surge protector to plug into pedestal.
*Please note that this has just one AC unit that works very well in most conditions. The bedroom stays cool dependably even if parked in full sun, but on the hottest July days, the main living area does get warmer than the bedroom. We used a fan to supplement. A 2nd AC can be easily added in the bedroom.
*Also please note that the bed slide lower outside edge has minor damage from a roll over protection bar on a lawnmower that went under the slide. It does not affect its operation at all.
