Description
----- SOLD 7/14/22 -----
Just keeping this around for a little bit.
2017 Aliner Ranger 12 with the off-road option (which means it has a beefier suspension and 15" tires), high wind lift assist option, and heat pump option (which provides A/C and heat). Three-way Dometic refrigerator (propane, 12v, 120v). Propane stove. Weighs about 1500 pounds. On our recent trip to the Rockies, we got over 22 MPG towing it with our Jeep Cherokee.
We mostly dry camp so we removed the water system (water heater, water tank, pump, sink, outdoor shower and pipes), and reclaimed a lot of storage space.
Has standard Aliner Ranger 12 floor plan:

We typically leave the sofa bed in the bed configuration. The dinette will also convert to a smaller bed that is 46" x 76". We've used that option a few times when taking grandkids!
We've made many upgrades:
* New, more colorful curtains and upholstery (re-upolstered existing foam)
* Awning for passenger side and for bubble windows
* Added another baggage door on driver side rear where water heater was located. This gave us a lot more storage space.
* Improved storage space under where the sink was located.
* Custom drawers on passenger side
* Porta-potty under driver side bench
* Hinges on under-bench storage which makes it much easier to access the storage
* Fans to cool refrigerator
* We added a hinged storage area under the table for cards, dice games and small paperback books.
* A-wall wind protection with an extra hanging shelf.
* Renogy 100 watt solar panel and 30 amp PWM Renogy Wanderer charge controller. We've dry camped for over a week and never run out of electricity.
* Stabilizer jacks in front (like the higher models)
* Updated LED lighting. We replaced the single brightness lights (too bright for us!) with lights that had high and low settings. We moved the other lights so one was a reading light over the bed and the other can be put up over the cooking area.
Always maintained well:
* Stored in garage when not in use
* New tires in 2020 (3400 miles)
* New group 31 battery this year.
* Lubed bearings every year
We had one small leak through the rear baggage door that I added. I'm pretty sure the gasket didn't seal right. It hasn't leaked during the last several trips. As far as the rest of the camper we've had no leaks. We went through one thunderstorm that dumped over five inches of rain on us! We stayed dry, but the grandkids were scared!
